This is a Fancy Dress Market every Sunday. (Thursday to Sat is civvies...fancy or not:)) Fancy Dress/dressing fancy is one of the elements to this event that makes it different to the rest. It is promoted on radio and in print as so.With this in mind we want the public to leave feeling that they were given what they were promised! Our regular stallholders put great effort into this each month and have helped to create a fantastic atmosphere much commented on and a grand comradery to boot! Please respect the concept and try to be at your stall with some degree of fancy dress come Sunday market day. This does not have to be an added outlay or expensive as imagination is what counts.
~Find The Elusive Mingle~ a Treasure Hunt of sorts
(the secretly chosen 'thing' from one of the stalls- only the organisers & the trader whose stall has The Mingle will know what it is) if purchased the buyer receives a ticket from that trader & becomes 'The Mingle Finder' a very prestigious accolade indeed ;) & wins a cash prize!
